I'm excited to say I was right. The smoothie was delicious. Even The Husband loved it and he was giving me the strangest looks as he watched me put spinach and a banana into the blender. It kept me full for hours. Rather than the snack I thought it was going to be, it became my dinner. This will be probably become a breakfast regular.
Amazingly Green Breakfast Smoothie
1 banana
1/2 cup of strawberries
1/3 cup non-fat Greek yogurt
2 cups of spinach
1/2 cup of orange juice (I used Simply Orange)
1 cup of ice
1. Put all ingredients in a blender. I put the ice at the bottom.
2. Blend. My blender has a smoothie button so I used that.
3. Pour and enjoy!
