College GameDay

Last Saturday ESPN College GameDay was in Salt Lake City for the Utah vs. Cal football game. Although we didn't have tickets to the actual game, The Husband and I decided to wake up ridiculously early and go run around campus to check it out. We almost changed our mind when the alarm went off at 5 a.m. on a Saturday but we powered through.

It turned out to be an amazing day. We were in the pit so we got to be on TV a few times and got to experience it the way it's supposed to be experienced. I saw some old friends and got pumped up to watch the game that night.

Since we were already in Salt Lake, we decided to have breakfast at one of our favorite places. I hadn't been to Ruth's Diner since before we moved to Colorado and was excited to have their famous and always delicious mile high biscuits. Seriously. They are so good and the jam they serve them with makes them incredible. Add hot chocolate and you have the perfect breakfast appetizer.

After all the adventures we came home and took the best nap. We cheered our Utes on to victory that evening and then woke up Sunday to get ready for a family football party. The Cowboys did not do as well as the Utes but I guess you can't have everything in one weekend.
