Cyber Monday

I had the best Thanksgiving weekend ever. It was full of family, food, and fun. Thanksgiving post will come later this week but I wanted to share the two cutest dresses I got from Banana Republic for 40% off! I love the fit and flare fit as well as how feminine and festive they are. Plus, I'm a sucker for any dress that shows off my back.

I also got some leggings, a belt, and a few Christmas gifts but I couldn't pass up these dresses. I had rewards points from the last time I shopped with them so they were over 50% off. And buying yourself a gift or two is basically mandatory during the holidays.

Now I just need an occasion to wear them.

Last Thursday The Husband and I headed to Texas to visit our friend. We were both really excited because neither one of us had ever been to Dallas for pleasure. The first thing we did was head to AT&T Stadium for a tour. The Husband was beyond excited to finally to go see where his favorite football team plays. He ran straight to the pro shop and proceeded to shopping.

Once we got to the actual tour it was two hours of being in complete awe. The stadium is absolutely gorgeous and it is impossible to describe in words. We had heard so much about it from the media but it is a whole different perspective to actually stand on the 50 yard line and look up. The tour took us through the player and cheerleader locker rooms, the suites, and the field.

Afterwards, we met up with some old Colorado friends for dinner and wandered around Dallas. The barbecue was amazing and then we went to a place called Cake Bar for dessert. I seriously could have eaten an entire cake myself but limited myself to two slices.

Saturday we headed to The Sixth Floor Museum and Dealey Plaza since it was rainy. It was so interesting and sad to hear more about the JFK assassination and it gave me the chills to stand in such historical places. The rest of the trip was filled with great conversation and a lot of laughs.
